SOLAR Chug Capo – Low Latency Professional Pitch Pedal

The CHUG CAPO is a digital bi-directional capo pedal, shifting pitch up or down by semitone in a way that mirrors the familiar, linear logic of a physical capo on the fretboard. The right-hand arrow button raises pitch by a semitone and the left-hand arrow button lowers it, with the onboard display showing the shift in either direction from -1 through -12 and +1 through +12.

Latency is roughly half that of similar single-function pitch pedals on the market, and the voicing has been programmed so pitch-shifted chords retain the character of an unaltered chord — a practical approach for changing key mid-song with minimal compromise to sonic integrity. Fast right-hand picking and chugging won't feel like it's dragging behind the beat, which is the CHUG CAPO's key advantage over other pitch-shifting pedals.

For solos, some digital artefact is unavoidable and audible, as with any pitch manipulator, though the tone remains faithful to the source. With bass guitars, tracking in the lowest registers can be difficult depending on the instrument and tuning.

Additional features include a MIX function for blending the pitch-shifted signal with the dry signal, and a FAV function that saves one favourite preset, accessible via the FAV button or an optional non-latching footswitch (footswitch not included; a 1/8" to 1/4" TS cable is included).
