RADITIONAL SERIES

Harnessing Traditional Craftsmanship with Pratley Design Values

The New Traditional Series by Martin Pratley, is inspired by the classic style of acoustic guitar making, providing a rich, warm tone while staying true to Pratley’s core design values of effortless usability. These guitars feel light, well-balanced and are visually stunning, delivering resonant sound projection that performs beautifully on stage, and are built to last.

This new acoustic range delivers the iconic aesthetic the brand is famous for, while being Pratley’s most accessible guitar yet. The signature Pratley details are there—the distinct headstock, the bridge, and the elegant logo gracing the pickguard. On closer inspection you will notice the key differences. The neck profile, the heel, and the Indian Rosewood fretboard all take their cues from classic, golden-era acoustic traditions, offering players a deeply familiar and nostalgic feel from the very first strum.

And, staying true to the quality synonymous with Pratley Guitars, Elixir strings, Fishman pickups, and premium fittings are standard across the range.

Articulate, Resonant, and Warm Tone with Classic Wood Pairings

Adding to these traditional qualities are the premium tonewoods. A high quality AA Solid Spruce top for a brilliant, expressive tone that matures with age, is paired with genuine, premium Mahogany back and sides for a rich, warm midrange with exceptional volume and forward projection. The result? A timeless, highly resonant, and resilient guitar incredibly resistant to changes in temperature and humidity, that comes alive the moment you play it.

Premium Finishing and Fine Details Crafted with Elite Precision

Look closer at the new Pratley Traditional Series to reveal the exquisite detail of this finely crafted range. Take note of the flawless binding with its silky feel and classic-modern combo of fine white purfling contrasting against deep black. Savour the elegant abalone shell rosette, meticulously inlaid with cutting-edge precision. Admire the old-world artistry of the dovetail neck joint, masterfully hand-fitted to give the guitar a unified acoustic voice, delivering an organic resonance and rich tone.

It is the fine craftsmanship of these details that makes the new Traditional Series by Pratley stand out against its counterparts, adding undeniable value, reliability, and prestige to your playing. By marrying traditional, high-end luthier techniques with advanced climate-resistant engineering, we’ve built a guitar that sounds spectacular in the studio and stands up flawlessly to life on the road.
